The first picture is the newly constructed raku station in the studio.
It provides 100,000 BTU's and the chamber heats up quick.


The next three pictures take you inside the kiln.




The white triangle tucked away down there is my temperature meter.


At 1410F or Cone O15 the vase is hot enough for the process.


This is the finished piece! After lifting it out of the chamber the horse 
hair and feathers are applied, this is when the color will be applied too.


And the last new addition to the studio is the new electric kiln, 
it provides all the bisque firing and functional glaze firing.
